Felicities Press Reception

Last night the Fashion Scout team hotfooted it down to the newly opened Hoxton Factory for Felicities PR Press Reception with the promise of meeting bright, young design talent.

Felicities are quickly building a reputation for representing some of the best emerging designers in London and we weren’t disappointed with the range of new talent on display. Familiar faces were spotted amongst the crowd including Vauxhall Fashion Scout designers Ada Zanditon, Alice Palmer, Harriets Muse, Jacob Kimmie, and Orschel Read and we took it as the perfect opportunity for a catch up! We were also delighted to see Migh-T , one of our first Ones to Watch designers in attendance.

The Hoxton Factory, recently launched by the dynamic, young entrepreneur Tomo Kembery created the perfect background for the evening. Refined by its raw industrial space, it complimented designer collections making for a refreshing viewing space. Drinks were plentiful, cupcakes (designed especially by Jacob Kimmie) were delectable and with Sunshine from Queen of the Universe on hand to provide complimentary manicures, the evening was a great success. We could definitely get used to being this spoilt!

Felicities are continually paving the way for young credible designers and as we head into next season, we can’t wait to see what they will have in store!

Charlotte Taylor on Vogue.com

Here at Fashion Scout we work hard to bring you the best innovative designers. As you would expect nothing makes us happier than when they are recognised by the industry heavy weights. So imagine how happy we were to see Charlotte Taylor featured on vogue.com talking about her new collection!

Charlotte’s A/W 10 collection was inspired by the unlikely, but genius mix of grannies, soap operas and penguins. Mixing tweed with navy and creams, Charlotte has produced a sophisticated and modern collection, which is playfully punctuated with a yellow penguin print.

Its not only the grannies and penguins that have everyone talking, Charlotte’s blog is just as popular, which is where we first scouted her! To read all about Charlotte’s reasoning behind her blog and the collection check out:

Sophie Ellis Bextor Wears Chelsea Rebelle

Performing at T4's Koko Pops last week, the ever stylish Sophie Ellis Bextor performed in this natty little dress by Fashion Scout designer, Chelsea Rebelle. Bedecked with bows, a peplum cut skirt and finished off with fine lace at the sleeve, Sophie looked pretty as a picture.
