Stiaan Louw, Heni Este-Hijzen and Laduma Ngxokolo of MaXhosa Knitwear
area are presenting their designs at London Fashion Week as part of the
Ubuntu:South African showcase project.
“The reason we’ve chose these three designers is they represent the new South African look that is coming through.” - Errol Hendrickse of Ubuntu.
On Monday 19th September at 10:45am these South African designers will make their catwalk debut.Errol Hendrickse moved to London from South Africa and started Ubuntu two years ago with Theo Omambala.They wanted to bring South African Fashion to an international market when they realised there was a gap in the market in terms of SA design aesthetic.
